At age 18, Joan led the French armies into battle. She was a peasant girl who couldn't even read, let alone fight a war. To save France from the English, she was going to need divine intervention.

The heavens answered her.

Joan received aid from St. Michael the Archangel, supreme commander of the heavenly armies. With his help, Joan led the French to victory on the battlefield, paving the way to the end of the Hundred Years’ War.

This first issue follows Joan as she first encounters the Archangel and leads the armies of France to reclaim the city of Orleans.

Age – 9+ (contains some mild comic violence)

The Mission of Joan of Arc

The artwork was beautiful and the storyline had strong Christian overtones without falling into the trap of becoming preachy.

Love it!

This comic couldn’t come any sooner right on St Joan of Arcs feast day and my little girl n boy who are into super heroes love it. It’s such a great story but the art that went into making it surpasses any other Christian comic book out there. It’s beautiful art from characters to the depiction of our catholic faith plus the storytelling is a masterpiece. My kids and I really enjoyed them.
