Origin story

Writer Philip Kosloski started VOYAGE in 2018 when he saw a desperate need for stories that effectively conveyed truth, beauty, and goodness.

Desiring to inspire his own children with traditional family values, he was frustrated with the vast amount of comic book heroes who compromised their values or were portrayed in an overly sexualized way.

What began with a single comic book (Finnian and the Seven Mountains), has now turned into the largest Catholic comic book company in the world. Our titles feature a variety of genres, including saints, superheroes and fantasy.

Committed to quality

Ever since its inception, VOYAGE has been comitted to producing high quality content that rivals mainstream entertainment.

Artist and business partner Michael LaVoy serves as the Chief Creative Officer. Besides having experience as a free-lance artist, he has also worked on projects for Ascension Press, Tan Books and Our Sunday Visitor.

Comic book veteran Jay David Ramos serves as the lead colorist and consultant for Voyage. He has worked for MARVEL and DC COMICS, coloring popular titles, such as Wonder Woman, Joker Year of the Villain, Red Hood Outlaw, Superman, Batman: Arkham Knight, Aquaman, Captain America, Extraordinary X-Men, Thor, Jean Grey, X-Men: Blue, Guardians of the Galaxy.

Infused with Catholic Values

We take our Catholic faith seriously, and besides infusing everything we do with Catholicism, we also submit each of our publications for theological review through our local bishop and diocese.

All of our current comic book titles have received a “Nihil Obstat” and “Imprimatur.” These are terms that state these comics do not have any theological error in them. Any new comic is also submitted for review and we will update our website once each one has received such a designation.
