About Us

Inspiring young people to live heroic lives for Christ…

… through various media which are at the same time formative, evangelical, and entertaining.

Founded in 2018 by Philip Kosloski, Voyage Comics & Publishing creates positive, faith-filled entertainment formed by Catholic values.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to create exceptional entertainment, informed by Catholic values, that inspires people to live a heroic life. Through our products, we seek to advance the truth, beauty and goodness found in powerful stories.

Identity

  • A Catholic Christian Media / Publishing house operating in full fidelity and service to Jesus Christ and His Bride, the Church.

  • Lay artists and professionals engaging Christ’s call to The Great Commission, placing our talents and skills at the service of the Kingdom.

  • Our Patroness is Our Lady Star of the Sea, and we seek her constant intercession, guidance, and protection as we navigate these temporal waters, inviting others to join this voyage to our shared Eternal Destination.

Purpose

  • Create such media of the utmost quality in story, form, and presentation.

  • Distribute this media into as many hands (of the young and old) as possible.

  • Serve—spiritually and tangibly—the Church (serve the Kingdom) and the mission-aligned ministries/apostolates we collaborate with...

  • …and where possible/appropriate, build and cultivate community among them (facilitate collaboration for the good of the Kingdom).

Meet the Team

Philip Kosloski, CEO & Founder
Philip is a gifted Catholic writer who started out writing spirituality and Church history  articles for various online outlets, such as Crisis Magazine, National Catholic Register, and Aleteia.org. He felt God calling him to branch-out and began writing comic book scripts in 2017, learning from veterans in the industry. He founded Voyage Comics in 2018 to meet a need for quality story-telling with a Catholic foundation. One of his primary inspirations and heroes is J.R.R. Tolkien.

Michael LaVoy, CCO & Art Director
Michael was initially a freelance artist who worked on projects for Ascension Press, Our Sunday Visitor and Tan Books. In 2017 he was contacted by Philip to be the artist for the Finnian and the Seven Mountains series, which brought him into the world of comic books. Since then he has become a part owner, and uses his creative talents on a number of titles and serves as the Art Director, managing a large team of artists from around the world.
