J.R.R. Tolkien has captivated the imagination of countless souls with his fantastical realm of Middle-Earth. While his world never mentions God, Tolkien's Catholic faith is woven throughout his fictional mythology. Voyage Comics presents a selection of previously published articles - including a few that have not been published - on a range of Tolkien topics that investigate the underlying Christian themes that can be found in Middle-Earth.

Tolkien lovers, rejoice!

I've been following the Voyage Comics blogs for some time now. Their essays are wonderful reads on religious aspects of fantasy, science fiction, and the worlds of Marvel and DC comics, from Batman to Tolkien. This book, a collection of all (as far as I can tell) their posts on Tolkien and his works is a true delight. I enjoyed discovering some articles that I haven't yet read. Great for discerning teens and adults alike.
