THE HEROIC LIFE AND DEATH OF ST. JOAN OF ARC!

At age 18, Joan led the French armies into battle. She was a peasant girl who couldn't even read, let alone fight a war. To save France from the English, she was going to need divine intervention.

The heavens answered her.

Joan received aid from St. Michael the Archangel, supreme commander of the heavenly armies. With his help, Joan led the French to victory on the battlefield, paving the way to the end of the Hundred Years’ War.

This two issue series follows Joan’s encounters with the Archangel, exploring her brief military campaigns in France, ending in her capture, trial and heroic martyrdom.

Heroism

The reader gets a good sense of Joan’s personality, and her courage and integrity. Her story is well told and well presented. Ideal for readers young and old.

Excellent!

I purchased the Joan of Arc Comic Book for my 11 year old Grandaughter. I read it and was so moved by the courage and faith of this young woman!

Long time coming!

Besides the Marvel comics on Saints and Popes which were few and far between, I've been looking for some one to start a new line of comics. I had forgotten about the old Treasure Chest magazine from grade school 70 years ago.
My daughter asked me if I remembered Treasure Chest. It took a minute, but it brought a smile to my face. Of course I remembered.
I looked you up on line and ordered two; Joan of Arc and Medel Knight for my grandson to read while at our house.
I loved the Mission of Joan of Arc and I'm waiting for my grandson to bring back the other one so I can read it too. He isn't finished with it.

Loved the comic!

I enjoyed reading the comic myself and I liked how it pulled out important parts of Joan's life but condense it into comic book form. I'm excited to share this comic with my CCD students because I feel the format will help engage my students!
